He was predeceased by: his father Hughlon Orvis Nipper; his granddaughter Katherine Herring; and his stepgrandson Kyle Holt. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nipper of Magnolia; his children, Robert Hughlon Nipper (Kelly) of Burnet, TX, Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Fitzpatrick (David) of Eagle Nest, NM and Rhonda Dauer (Robin) of Jonesboro, AR; his former wife Yvonne Nipper of Jonesboro, AR; his grandchildren, Erin Nipper Nickerson, Sydney Nipper Reesor, Laura Nipper, Taylor Harwell, Jake Hoch and Matthew Dauer; his brothers, John M. Nipper (Margret) of Lufkin, TX and Joseph W. Nipper (Maja) of Austin, TX.; and his stepchildren, Kayla Smeltzer (Paul) of Texarkana, AR, Eric Smart (Trina) of Hempstead, TX, Lori "Annette" Rivera of San Marcos, TX, Alex Rain (Kelli) of Allen, TX and Loren Smith (Andrew) of Texarkana, AR. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren.
