We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2022, at the age of 94, Robert Edgar Tate Jr. of Magnolia, Arkansas, born in Panhandle, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert Edgar Tate, Sr.; his wife Aileen Tate; and his siblings, Fred Tate, Herman Tate, Orphus Tate, Jim Tate, Ruby Best, Mary Ann Lee and Violet Tate.
He is survived by: his children, Benita Blythe (John) of Chipley, Robbie Manthei of Magnolia, Tara Owens (Tim) of Magnolia and William Tate (Kristi) of Prosper, Texas; and his grandchildren, Chaney Reed (Amber), Robert Reed (Jaime) of Abilene, Courtney Manthei of Denver, Robert West (Christina) of Maumelle, Garett West (Auliya) of Ft. Worth, Jakeb Gilbreath of Munster, Caleb Tate, Chloe Tate and Cole Tate (Maleia) of Denton, Texas. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
