He is survived by: his wife Pearl Elmore of Magnolia; his children, Rodney Joe Yates of Magnolia, Rhonda Triplet of Emerson and Staci Brown of Bastrop; and his siblings, James Elmore of Haynesville and Joyce Newman of McNeil.
