It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Obie Harper Jr. (Magnolia, Arkansas), who passed away on May 11, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Obie Harper, Sr. and Thelma Flowers Harper; and his siblings, Carrie Lee Moss, Dorothy Harper, Cora Williams, Thelma Harper, Ruben Harper, Johnny Ray Harper and Lee Otis Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Harper of Magnolia, Arkansas; his children, Obilean Harper of Mc Neil, Hazel Gilbert (Willie), Otis Ray Harper (Deloris) of Magnolia, Arkansas and Ricardo M. Thomas of Magnolia, Arkansas; his brothers, Charlie Harper of Houston and Oliver Lee Harper; and his close friend Mary A. Williams of Mc Neil, Arkansas. He is also survived by Grandchildren, (19) Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
