He is survived by: his wife Susan Hanson of Magnolia; his children, Mitch Hanson of Hope, Jennifer Jackson (Phillip) of Magnolia and Jessie Watson (Tyler) of Magnolia; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Jackson of Magnolia, Jack Watson of Magnolia, Max Watson of Magnolia, Henry Hanson of Hope, Hayden Hanson of Hope and Georgia Hanson of Hope; his uncle Jerry Hanson (Margaret) of Houston, Texas; his aunt Ellen Hanson of Texarkana; his cousins, Jeff Hanson (Mandy) of Magnolia and Laurie Dunlap (Rich) of Texarkana; and his sisters-in-law, Sonya Poe, Cindy Massey of Palestine and Cheryl Wiemeyer of Oak Point, Texas.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. (420 N Jackson, Magnolia, AR 71753). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (318 E Main St, Magnolia, AR 71753). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
