He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Ernest and Minnie Nadine Hawkins (Miller); his sons, Rodney Wood and Derrick Wood; and his brother Casey Gilmore.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Hawkins; his son Caleb Hawkins (Kristin); his granddaughter Kymber Hawkins of Magnolia; and his sister Mickey Abbott of Van Buren, MO. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
