He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzo Garland and Elsie Ray Curry Allen; and his brother John Henry Allen. He is survived by: his brother Jeffers Jefferson; his wife Carol Garland; his children, Angela Garland, Michele Garland, Anthony Daniels, Christopher Garland, Eric Garland and Hayden White; and his siblings, Linda Keener, Billy, Roy Lee, Leroy and Rudolph. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask while attending the services and during visitation hours.
