He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Ellis and Initta Ellis; and his uncles, Sid Ellis and Jimmy Sayers. He is survived by: his wife Shayna Ellis; his children, Preston Ellis, Evylynn Ellis, Joci Ellis and James Daniel Ellis; his stepchildren, Kelly Warlick of Magnolia and Karly Warlick of Magnolia; and his aunt Donna Sayers.
