He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frank Hickman and Mable Gunnels; his daughters, Janie Sue Hickman and Dorothy Lou Hickman; his grandson Eli Benson; and his sister Linda Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Hickman; his children, Amanda (Harold Higginbotham) and Mike (Benae Hickman); his grandchildren, Jaime (Sean Aleman), Trevor Higginbotham and Sarah Benson; his great grandchildren, Carter Lee, Scottie James and Lainey Rose; and his sisters, Sue Kimbell, Ruth Hunt and Diane Isaacs. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
