He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Ray and Sallie Evers; his wife Carolyn Herndon Evers; his siblings, Eunice Talley (Thurman), Mattie Clair Kyle McMullan (Alvin), Nettie Jewel Watson (Archie), Herbert Evers (Correne), Ruth Kyle (Gilmer), Mary Evers, Ella Faye McIlvene (Bernie), Harold Evers (Inez), Margaret George (Lloyd), Clifford Evers (Blondeen) and Charles Evers (Angie); and his siblings-in-law, James Herndon and Dot Pennington (Emmette).
He is survived by: his daughter Mary; his grandchildren, Michael Wilson (Christy), Russel Wilson (Emily), Jeff Thompson (Eve), Karen Lewis (Adam), Justin Walker (Misty), Adam Pipkin (Shana), Kalyn Johnson (Tyler), Brandon Skinner, Colton Skinner and Tammy Smith (Stephen); his sister Patsy Green (Monroe); and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Herndon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. (420 N Jackson, Magnolia, AR 71753). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery (370-414 Columbia Rd 36, Magnolia, AR 71753).
