He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Bethel and Lois Hampton (Johnson); and his brothers, Horace Hampton, Kenneth Hampton and Terrell Hampton.
He is survived by: his wife Lavenia Hampton; his son Randy Hampton; and his grandchildren, Chase Hampton of Magnolia and Collin Hampton of Magnolia. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
