He was predeceased by: his father James Franklin "Jammie" Key; and his grandparents, Luther Gilliam Key, Ethel Key (Walsh) and Linnie Gill. He is survived by: his wife Donna Chaffin Key of Magnolia; his children, Michael Key (Stephanie) of Magnolia, Cody Key of Magnolia, Trisha Patterson (Jessica) of Kaufman, TX and Dustin Patterson of Bozeman, MT; his grandchildren, Riley Key, Jensen Key of Magnolia and Halston Patterson of Kaufman; his mother Janie Foreman of Magnolia; his siblings, Tawana Stevenson of Texarkana, AR, Sonya Shelton (Todd) of Carthage, TX, Allen Dickson and Mike Gass of Magnolia; his parents-in-law, Jimmy and Genia Chaffin of Stephens, AR; and his siblings-in-law, Tina Dever (Ken), Angie Chaffin and Timmy Chaffin (Cindy) of Camden, AR..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. (420 N Jackson, Magnolia, AR 71753). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rugged Cross Cowboy Church (35 Columbia Rd 47, Magnolia, AR 71753).
