She was predeceased by: her parents, George Phillips of Washington and Minnie Beatrice Phillips (Roberts); her husband Mike Morris; her daughter Hattie "Missy" Jones; her granddaughter Krystal Lee; her siblings, G. W. Phillips, Gary Phillips, Glen Phillips and Grace Elaine Hendrix; and the father of her children Junior Lee "J. L.".
She is survived by: her children, Liz Walthall of Hope, Kathy Lee of Magnolia and Tommy Thomas of Minden, LA; her grandchildren, Lori Bryant of Magnolia, Todd Jones (Amy) of Houston, TX, Rodney Walthall of Texarkana, TX, Tina Tannehill-Curtis (Bill) of Texarkana, TX and Tonya Thomas of Springhill, LA; her siblings, Grady Phillips (Emily) of Stamps, Geneva Sue Phillips of Magnolia, Gwendolyn Griffin of Bussey, Gloria McClure of Stamps and Gayla Kelley of Stamps; and also Ebonique Parrish of Waldo. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.
