He was predeceased by: his parents, Anderson Butler and Jewel Rena Butler (Wilkerson); his siblings, Ervin, Ernest, Alfred, Truman, Homer, Alvin Butler, Ora Burdine, Vocell Millican and Louise Brumett; and his grandson Cody Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lanell Butler of Magnolia; his daughters, Quinna Clark (Phillip) and Gina Dillon (Jimmy Wayne); his sister Shirley Bailey of Bossier City; his grandchildren, Shawn W. Silvers, Destin Silvers of El Dorado, Brayden Dillon of Sarepta, Jesslyn Yawn of El Dorado, Heather Huckabee of Hope, Chasity Klutts and Ashley Allen of Lewisville; and his great grandchildren, Michael Flournoy, Taylor Flournoy, Braylen Hurd, Carson Allen and Jett Klutts. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
