He was predeceased by: his parents, Acy A. Chiasson, Sr. and Leontine Rogers Chiasson; his siblings, Mildred Strate, Dorothy Varuso, Margie Bohne and Acy A. Chiasson, Jr.; and his nephew Acy W. Chiasson.
He is survived by: his wife Joan S. Chiasson of Magnolia; his children, Carol, Daniel Rivas of Flippin, Christopher Chiasson of Harahan, Gloria, Stephen Ellis of Magnolia, Janet, John Toffton of Homer, Bradford and Marie Burge of Medina, Ohio; his stepchildren, Rebecca, Daniel Pearce of Magnolia, Gene, Donna Dumas of Greenboro and Greg Dumas of Elm Springs, Arkansas; and his brother Carroll Michael Chiasson of New Orleans. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family requests memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
