He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Edgar and Alice Lorene Langley Marks; his wife Vivian Hardin Marks; his daughter Teresia Earline Marks; and his siblings, Bonnie Mae Garner and James Carol Marks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Katrina Vercher of Lake City, FL and Shelly Burgess (Ronnie) of Magnolia, AR; his grandchildren, Nicholas Vercher (Teri), Heather Caldwell (John), Chad Vercher and David Burgess; and his great grandchildren, Travien Sears, Johnthan Tyler Vercher, Arianna Caldwell, Mariah Caldwell, Adyson Vercher, Austin Vercher, Tenlee Vercher and Londyn Caldwell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
A reception will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elliott Baptist Church (4189 Hwy 376 S, Camden, AR 71701).
