She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewitt Herndon and Ocie Herndon (Sharp); her husband Emmett Pennington; her son Scott Pennington; and her sister Carolyn Evers.
She is survived by: her son Skipper Pennington (Cindy) of Mayflower; her grandchildren, Grace Anne Cornett (Russell) of Magnolia, Laura Pennington of Camden, Susan Pennington and Tyler Pennington of Magnolia; her great grandchildren, Lane Cornett, Jenny Cornett and Eleanor Pennington of Magnolia; her brother James Ray Herndon (Elizabeth) of El Dorado; and her brother-in-law Carlos Evers of Magnolia. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
