He was predeceased by: his father William Terral Bishop; his grandparents, Eamon, Lucille Bishop, Floyd and Maudean Cunningham; his uncle Buster; his aunt Pat Cunningham; and his brother-in-law Danny Keck.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bishop of Magnolia; his mother Sonja Bishop of Emerson; his children, Bradley Bishop (Raean) of Haynesville, LA, Kassaundra Bishop of Springhill, LA and Sonja Haynes (Brandon) of Magnolia; his sisters, Angelee Vines (Bubba) of Haynesville, LA and Linda Bishop of Emerson; and his grandchildren, Logan Hurley, Karlie Hurley, Pandora Hurley of Sarepta, Hailie Bishop, Summer Bishop of Genoa, Kimberly Bishop of Haynesville, Gavin Haynes and Jaxon Haynes of Magnolia. He is also survived by great nephews and nieces, extended family and friends.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
