She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Alma Lou Payne Grissom; her husband Ezisa "Bubba" Grissom; her siblings, Roy Lee Harris, Lee Roy Harris, Early Payne, Jr., Glory Lowery, Glinda McGlothern and Shirley Gentry; her children, Essell Grissom, Betty Lou Easter (Earl), John L Grissom (Lena), Donell Grissom, Don Lavell Grissom, Donnie Ray Grissom, Sr. and Melinda Carol Manning (Connell); her siblings, Joe Witcher, Shirley Bradford (Michael) and Dorothy Henry (Roy); and her brother-in-law Ernest "Fuzzy" Grissom. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren.
