He was predeceased by: his parents, James Orvin "J. O." and Mayme Etta Daniel (Cochran); and his siblings, W. J. Daniel, Fay J. Daniel, Kenneth Daniel, Imogene Mullica and Joy Hardy.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Daniel (Shinn); his children, Mark Daniel (Sandra) of Sherwood, Eric Daniel (Rachael) of Greenwood and Robin Peltier (Tom) of Harrison; his siblings, Charles Daniel (Linda) of Malvern, Don Daniel of Visalia, Elizabeth Slate of Malvern and Audrey Brenton (Jim) of Malvern; his grandchildren, Hannah Gage (Chris), Ben Peltier (Paige), Caleb Daniel (Lindsey) and Amy Daniel; and his great grandchild Adaline Danielle Gage. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Youth Group of Meadow View Missionary Baptist Church.
