He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Earl and Mable Ann Noe Rickels; the mother of his children Lynn Rickels; his former wife Jeanette Rickels; and his siblings, Raymond Rickels, Jr. and Glenna Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Rickels of Magnet Cove; his children, Becky Rickels (Ronny Salmen) of Magnet Cove and Billy Rickels (Renata) of Bonne Terre, MO; his stepsons, John Carter (Amy) of Jones Mill and James Carter of Grady; his siblings, Gene Rickels (Pam) of Tennessee, Roger Rickels (Brenda) of Florida, Jimmy Rickels of Kentucky, Ann Wittaker of Kentucky, Jane Robinson (Bill) of Kentucky and Midge Smith of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jacob Stevens (Summer), Morgan Smith Misa Rickels (Shaun), Brison Rickels, Lexie Carter, Abby Carter and Zoey Carter; and his great grandchildren, Rylee, Tristan, Brantley, Tyson, Kaleb, Kinzie and Kyler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
