He is survived by: his parents, Robert Howard McDoniel and Nellie McDoniel (Moore); his brother George McDoniel; his children, Robert Neal McDoniel, Eric Christian McDoniel and Larissa McDoniel Ciuca; his grandsons, Robert Dean McDoniel, Joseph Hamelin and James McDoniel; his nephews, Kevin McDoniel and Brian McDoniel; his wife Carol McDoniel; and his friends, Puerto Rico and Magness.
