He was predeceased by: his parents, Neville Woodson and Cleo Christine Gore Hopson; and his brother-in-law Tommy Canion. He is survived by: his spouse Mary Ann Izard Hopson of Magazine; his children-in-law, Wink DeWayne Hopson and Karlyn Kay; his brother Rodney Brent (Deanna); and his brother-in-law Helena Jantine Canion. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
