She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Phillips and Mattie Phillips; her husband David Murray; and her siblings, Guy Phillips, John Phillips, Billy Wayne "Jake" Phillips and Mary Sue Sharber.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth DeWald (Russ) of Hanover, Pennsylvania; her siblings, George Allen Phillips (Jackie) of Bullhead City, Arizona and Joyce Smith of Booneville, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Katherine DeWald, Drake DeWald and Erin DeWald. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
