It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Cecil McDonald of Magazine, Arkansas, who passed away on November 9, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene Cecil McDonald to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde McDonald and Mattie Van Allen McDonald; his wife Oleta Casey McDonald; his siblings, Herman, Garrie, Madison McDonald, Idell Tate, Nellie Sigmon, Madge McDonald, Lois Young and Blanche Webb; his son-in-law Jim Richardson; and his great grandchild Macy Honeycutt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Richardson and Karen Hicks (Boyd); his grandchildren, Greg Downs (Monica), Sherry Honeycutt and Jesse Hicks; and his stepgrandchildren, Joe Richardson, Sara Lee and Jami Madrid (Nathan).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Old Union Church (27 Old Union Rd, Magazine, AR 72943). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
