He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jim Buck Pickard, Junior Pickard, Altha Dean Hankins, Chester Pickard and Edna Pettit; and his nephews, Tracy Pickard, Jimmy Dale Pickard, Tommy Hankins and Ronnie Hankins.

He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Dycus and Carolyn Elkins. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
