He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Wirt of Madison; his children, Charlette Wirt-Hill of Memphis, Darrell Arnaz Wirt of New Bern, Glenda Rochelle Wirt of Knoxville, Daniel Anthony Wirt of Palm Coast and Donald Perry Wirt of Rayeford; and his siblings, Nancy Rooks of Germantown, Tennessee, Robert Wirt, Johnny Lee Mason, Obidah Mason and Nathaniel Mason. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
