He was predeceased by: his mother Betty; and his stepparents, B. C. Wells, Jr. and Alice Ryan. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kay; his children, Jenny Ryan Evans of Mabelvale, James A. Ryan, III (Trey) of Benton and Benjamin (Linsey) of Alexander; his grandchildren, Olivia Evans, Whitley, Beau Ryan and Lincoln Ryan; his siblings, John Patrick Ryan (Lindsey) of Little Rock, Barbara Hesse of Arkadelphia, Patti Wingfield (Greg) of Camden and Mary Krikorian (Serge) of Benton; his brother-in-law Johnny Toombs (Lois) of Texarkana; and his children, Reverend, Pastor and Chaplain. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
