He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Cole. He is survived by: his sons, Phillip Cole (Ginger) of Little Rock and Timothy Cole (Julie) of Mabelvale; his grandchildren, Terry Cole, Rhonda Warren, Seth Lybrand and Karmen Lybrand; and his great grandchildren, Cecelia, Cooper and Elijah. He is also survived by one brother, three sisters.
