It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dewey Buffington Jr. (Mabelvale, Arkansas), born in Newport, Arkansas, who passed away on January 28, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey, Sr. Buffington and Nora Buffington (Franklin); his former wife Delores Buffington; and his brother Thomas Blake Buffington. He is survived by: his sons, Blake Buffington of Little Rock and Mark Buffington of Little Rock; and his brothers, James Gray Buffington of West Memphis and Michael L. Buffington of Fayetteville. He is also survived by many extended family members; and a lifetime of friends.
