She was predeceased by: her parents, William Howard and Alma Mae Relaford Riley; and her siblings, Floyd Manis, Jr. and Catherine Ward. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen J. Thurman (Dan) of Salina, Jennifer M. Swayne of Edgewater, Wendy Hightman of San Diego and Mark William Swayne of Lawrence, Kansas; and her brother Robert Manis of Kansas City, Kansas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
