Karen H Miller Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2018, at the age of 81, Karen H Miller (Lynn, Arkansas) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen H Miller to pay them a last tribute.
They would say "Will your mom be home?' Because they wanted to see her. She was always there to give undivided attention to others. She was world-renowed for not holding back her opinion and has a knack for telling it like it is. She always told you the truth even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear. She was a devoted daughter, an energetic teenager where in high school she was noted for her cover girl smile…most popular…true as the blue in her eyes…personality plus. She graduated from the University of West Virginia where she majored in journalism and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She was a dedicated employee who retired from Delta Airlines where she worked in reservations for Conventions/Group Sales. She was a Master cook in the Kitchen; She believed in overcooking everything until it chewed like rubber. She rocked canned green beans and stove top stuffing. Every morning, she wheeled into the Kwickie and would holler for us to hurry in and get a honey bun. From there, she wheeled us to the local deli for our sack lunches. She liked four lettered words as much as she did planting flowers, traveling, and sunbathing or the pool. She was a polished woman, well dressed sophisticated who wore stunning business suits, heels, and pearls. And she ALWAYS has on gorgeous lipstick. Her daughters say her only regret was probably never retiring in a nudist colony. No buildings were named after her; no monuments erected in her honor. But she did have the chance to know and love each and every friend as well as her family members. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Juliana Huskey (Frank), Jacquelyn Ellison (Kevin) and grandchildren Alex Huskey, Ava and Rhett Ellison. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the nurses and medical staff who provided care to her over the past twenty- two years. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to The Brain Aneurysm Foundation or hht://bafound.org.
