He was predeceased by: his daughter Rebecca Goff; and his siblings, James Spears, Felix "Sonny" Spears, Rita Spears and Henry Spears.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Spears; his children, Tommy Spears (Denice Spears), Tammy Spears (Jeff Putman), Rochell Aguilera (Sergio Aguilera), Regena Hawthorne (Chuck Hawthorne), Carla Lehl (Mark Lehl), Rhonda Stamps (Chuck Stamps), Wayne Estep (Jackie Estep) and Johnny Estep (Angie Estep); his grandchildren, Shane Spears, Eric Spears, Casey Wilson, Corey Spears, Jerrid Spears, Josh Hackwith, John Francis, Billy Pollock, James Pollock, Tim Pollock, Jake Tucker, Dylan Tucker, CJ Hawthorne, Shelia Spears, Ladawn Cibik, Lisa Slaughter, Destiny Tucker, Leanna Perez, Shawnee Francis, Kaylea Rivas, Cheyanne Hawthorne, Alisha Willett, Ashley Lehl, Keylity Morton, Jacob Estep, Luke Stamps, Zachery Estep, Clayton Stamps, Joshua Estep, Wyatt Estep, Whitney Estep, John Wayne Estep, Anessa Estep and Carter Estep; and his siblings, Paul Spears, Eddie Spears, Elizabeth Gregory, Catherine and Edna. He is also survived by 45 great grandchildren.
