She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Looney and Rosie Stovall Looney; her sisters, Marylou Hathcoat, Barbara Koloff, Bernice Gatewood and Margaret Alexander; her daughter Tammy Bates; and her granddaughter Kayla Cogdell.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Cogdell; her sons, John Cogdell, Joe Scott and James Cogdell; her brother Roland Looney; and her grandchildren, Lana Sullivan, Christopher Bates, Sara Bates, Tasha Shauff, Darian Cogdell, Thomas Cogdell and Stephanie Cogdell. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
