He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Marrion Hollis and Minnie Evelyn Moore Hollis; and his siblings, Hazel Cleveland and David Claude Hollis. He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Nash of Louann; his children, Paul Hollis (Shanin) of Lockesburg, Wallace Hollis, David Hollis of Louann and Katy Irvan (Kent) of DeQueen; and his stepsons, Will Stanley of Louann, Johnny Livingston of Louann and Daniel Livingston, Jr. of Louann. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
