She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lewis and Ella Lewis; her husband Ardis Carroll; her brother Leroy Lewis; and her daughter Linda Hodges.
She is survived by: her sons, James Carroll and Jason Hodges; and her grandchildren, Angela Thomas (Ryan), Mary Taylor (Kyle), Tyler Hodges and Shawn Hodges (Sena). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
