She was predeceased by: her parents, George "Gene" Basinger and Margaret Morris Basinger. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Dean Weddle; her sons, Chad Smith (Addie), Colby Saulsbury (Jessa) and Casey Saulsbury; her stepdaughters, Hannah and Tammy Weddle; her granddaughter Jenica Saulsbury; and her siblings, Gary Basinger, Butch Basinger and Terrie Burton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made to UCAPS, P. O. Box 204, El Dorado, AR 71730 to celebrate Connie's lifelong love of animals.
