He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Moses Bransford and William Hastings "Big Bill" Bransford Jr.; his grandparents, Colter Hamilton Moses, Lena Goodwin Moses and Bessie Walt "BeBe" Bransford; his brother Lawson W. Turner III; his cousin Whitman Bransford; and his pet Charlie.
He is survived by: his children, Susan, Caroline and William Hastings Bransford IV of Fayetteville, AR.; his sisters, Mary Moses Sours of Chico, CA and Frances Beth Bransford of Chico, CA; his sons, Erik Long of Little Rock, AR and Kenny Thompson of Charlotte, NC; and his grandsons, Colter Benjamin Long, Alexander Bransford Long, Wilson Elwood Long and George Kennedy Thompson III. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
