He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joanna Hart and Louis Cook; his adoptive father James L. Dowd; his wife Linda; his son Joseph William Dowd of Nolanville, TX; his grandchildren, Mason and Mikalah of El Paso, TX; and his brother Tim Dowd (Chona).
