He is survived by: his children, Chris Wheelis and Brandy Nichols; his grandchildren, Taylor Nichols and Tiffany Nichols; and his siblings, Joey Strickland, Frances Grigsby, Wesley Strickland, Doyle Strickland, Patricia Babb, Kenny Strickland, Robert Strickland (Kathy), Tommy Strickland (Debbie) and Sherry Graessle (Art). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
