He is survived by: his significant other Patricia Hopper; his children, Toney Earl, Kathleen Turner of Lonoke, William Turner of Conway, Sherry Root, Peppie Root of Horn Lake, Yolanda Turner of Maumelle, Amber Ingle and Anthony Ingle of Hazen; his stepsons, Billy Hopper, Donna Hopper of Atoka, Tim Hopper and Michelle Hopper of Marion; and his siblings, Oscar Turner, Martha Turner of Hazen, Walter Turner, Nancy Turner of Gillett, Jimmy Turner, Amanda Turner of Hazen, Virgil Turner, Diane Turner of Star City and Debbie May of McGehee.
