It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Lou Cheatham Smothers of Lonoke, Arkansas, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Col. Robert C. Smothers; and her parents, Jo Robertson Cheatham and John Cabell Cheatham. She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Smothers; her daughter Meredith A. Pour (Mehdi) of Palm Springs; her daughter-in-law Julie L. Smothers; her brother John C. Cheatham, Jr.; her grandchildren, C. Blake Watson (Brandy), Lee C. Smothers (Makaleigh) and Brooke M. Smothers; and her great grandchild Stella Watson.
