He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ida Willene and C. B. Simpson; his siblings, Sarah Carey and Booker Simpson; his wife Mary Ruth Simpson of Lonoke; his children, Stacie Ferguson of Little Rock, Leslie Staton (Dennis) of Lonoke, Kevin Simpson (Melissa) of Cabot, Amy Lackey (Clint) of Lonoke and Sean Simpson (Amanda) of Lonoke; and his brother Hurston Simpson of Little Rock.
The family requests that masks be worn by those who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
