He was predeceased by: his parents, James Beggs and Ada Beggs; his wife Haru; and his siblings, James Beggs, Dan Beggs, Margaret Benafield and Frances Moore.
He is survived by: his sisters, Joyce Butler and Sandra Anderson; his sister-in-law Martha Beggs; and his close friend David Hayes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
