He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Jeff Carpenter; his sons, Cody Carpenter (Anna) and John Edward Carpenter; his siblings, Eddy Carpenter (Joanna), Kenny Hesse and Kelli Henderson (Darren); his stepsister Cynthia Moore (Larry); his stepmother Emma Carpenter; his grandchildren, Evie and Ella Carpenter; and his aunts, Birtha Larkan and Mary Thate. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family.
