He is survived by: his wife Rita Oglesby Fort; his daughters, Samantha Lee Fort Barton, Michelle Fort Hurst and Tiffany Ann Fort; and his siblings, Kirk Douglas Fort and Becky Fort Baker. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
