He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Shawnee Benton Porter; and his son John David Porter. He is survived by: his wife Ida Faye; his children, Shane Porter of Lonoke and Audra Porter-Williams of Lonoke; his grandchildren, Bradley Williams (Ansleigh) of Lonoke and Kayla Bennett of Lonoke; and his sister Thelessia Porter of Beebe. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
