He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Walton "Tonky" Wheat Jr., Rita Ann Sutherlin and Mary Lois Tharp; and his sons, Jack Wright Wheat II, William Todd Wheat (Frances) and J. B. Ketchum (Robyn).
