She was predeceased by: her parents, Isreal Dyer and Cleo Phillips-Dyer; and her siblings, Ruby Rhodes, Helen Dyer, Edna Davis, Beatrice Cummings, Isiah Dyer and Leon Dyer.

She is survived by: her husband Freddie Joe Peyton of Carlisle; and her children, Patrick Jerrod Peyton, Frederick Joel Peyton of Little Rock and Kathy Denene Peyton of Little Rock. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
