She was predeceased by: her parents, Kelse Tenison and Margaret Tenison; her son Drew Ryan Howard; and her brothers, Alton and Billy Tenison.

She is survived by: her sister Joyce Campbell; her husband Gary Arkels; and her son Donald Ray Howard. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
